Boosting industrial process with data science and machine learning!
The Syngenta plant in Saint Pierre la Garenne, which is specialized in producing seeds and phytosanitary products for farmers, was looking to optimize its industrial performance.
Actemium Lyon Process Automation achieved this optimization with data science and machine learning.
Two challenges needed to be solved: determine why the spout sometimes lets drops escape between two fillings, staining the outside of the canister, and why the canisters do not fill up evenly.
To implement this iterative approach, Actemium uses the CRISP-DM (Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining) in two steps:
- Understanding the phenomena and collecting datas
- Modeling and interpretation
These analyses will enable Syngenta to better understand and adapt their process.
